Karunya University was launched in 1986 with the noble sight to produce professionals of high academic quality and unmarred character, raised with a strong motive and dedication to care for the underprivileged. In 2004, the institute was granted the Deemed to be University status in acknowledgment of its donnish excellence by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India and afterward renamed as Karunya University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 vide Notification No. 9-3-2000-U3 dated.23.6.2004 of the Government of India.

Eligibility
The candidates must hold a Bachelors Degree (10+2+3) from a recognized University in any discipline with at least 50% Marks in aggregate.
Selection Process
The candidate Selection is based on entrance exam CAT/MAT/GMAT followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
