Kashmir University North Campus
Kashmir University’s North campus has impaired the accusative of its organization with unnecessary delay and burden on the state exchequer. Incidentally, the basis stone of this campus was laid on the disastrous day of October 8 2005 when the annihilating earthquake shook the entire region. The campus was thought to help students secure admission in the higher classes in their several areas without the demand of going to Srinagar for the purpose. The foundation stone of the campus was first laid five years ago by the then Chief Minster, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed on February 14 2004 at Darpora (Delina) near Baramulla on a land spread over the area of 430 kanals.
