Kerala State Open School (KSOS) was instituted in the year 2000 under State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), with the mission of universalisation of education, by offering greater access and equal opportunities. The Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) is a certification received by a student on successful completion of an examination at the end of study at the secondary schooling level in India. After the requirement Kerala Board SSLC examination students may register in general or professional degree programs.
