K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE) – Mumbai was established in 1983 at Somaiya Vidyavihar. K J Somaiya College of Engineering has Corporate Relations and Placement Cell committed for toughening the interaction among Institute and Industry. In this way, the association has started steps to tap the expertise of its members to prepare an effective career guidance cell and a placement cell. The KJSCE Placement cell is organized by a senior faculty, who will be supported by one faculty member from each of the department.
The KJSCE Placement cell basic aim is to involve industry’s inputs in the form of expert lectures, short-term training for faculty members/ students, projects, laboratory development, sponsoring technical non technical events etc. KJSCE Placements at the Institute are managed by the students, thus offering students an opportunity for corporate interactions and hone their skills in ‘Planning and Organizing’.
