The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education, Pune established in January 1, 1966 to regulate certain matters pertaining to secondary education in the state of Maharashtra, India. The act was improved in 1977 and the name of the Board changed to its present name – The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education declared HSC Time table for 2010 Exam. Maharashtra higher secondary certificate (HSC, Std XII) and secondary school certificate (SSC, Std X) exams will be held on 26th February to March 5. Maharashtra Board HSC Exam 2010 is divided in two parts of marks 40 and 60. Students will get marks out of 40 for projects, which are prepared under the environment education subject and out of 60 marks for written test. Students must secure minimum 14 marks for the project and 21 marks in the written test for passing the subject.
