Metro Railway Delhi
The Delhi Metro is a rapid transit system in Delhi city that is being made and is controlled through the Metro Railway Delhi. The 1st section of the Delhi Metro was opened up on 24/12/2002. The Indian Govt. and the Delhi Govt. Together with establish the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in 1995. Physical construction work on the Delhi Metro began in the year 1998. The Metro Railway Delhi was given fully powers to hire people, decide on tenders and operate funds. The 1st line opened up on 24/12/2002 and the 1st phase of the plan was finished in the year 2005. Phase two is underway and 3 more phases have been designed.
