MRVC New Rakes
ICF has been placed an order for manufacturing of 101 AC-DC/EMU new rakes of nine car formation including of the following eight various types of coaches through Mumbai MRVC (Railway Vikas Corporation limited) for procedure in Mumbai Suburban region.
AC/DC EMU –Motor coach
AC/DC EMU –‘C’ coach
AC/DC EMU –DTC
AC/DC EMU –D/HC
AC/DC EMU –M2
AC/DC EMU –C2
New rakes are being included for Mumbai’s suburban network to exchange the old rakes as well as to add more capacity. There is a project to buy 174 rakes in phase 1 of MUTP.
