Mumbai University Distance Learning

University of Mumbai was launched in 1857 sequent upon “Wood’s Education Dispatch”, and it is one among the first three Universities in India. University of Mumbai – The University of Mumbai (recognized earliest as University of Bombay) is one of the most previous and prime Universities in India. It founded the Directorate of Correspondence Courses in the year 1971-72. In the year 1993, the Directorate of Mumbai University Distance Education was promoted as ‘Institute of Distance Education’ It thus got a status as a ‘University Institution’.
