National Family Health Survey Report
The National Family Health Survey (NFHS) is a big-scale, multi-round survey directed in a representative sample of households all over the country. 3 rounds of the survey have been directed since the 1st survey in 1992 to 1993. The 2nd National Family Health Survey (NFHS-2) was directed in 1998 to 99 in whole 26 states of the country. The 3rd National Family Health Survey (NFHS-3) was carried out in 2005 to 2006. 18 Research associations containing 5 Population Research Centres carried out the survey in 29 states of the country.
