The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a voluntary establishment by which the state colleges and universities govern their athletics programs. NCAA programs proposed at enhancing and promoting engagement by minorities and women in college athletics. National Collegiate Athletic Association made graduation rate formula that excludes students who become professional, transfer, or drop out, as long as they leave in good position, produces only slightly better results. According to the latest NCAA Graduation Rate data, 79 percent of freshmen student-athletes who came in college in 2002 made their four-year degrees, matching last year’s rate.
