NISG is a unique establishment running in the meta-space of e-Government. In its five years of existence NISG has managed a diversity of projects, furnishing consulting support to both central and state Governments in India in growing and implementing e-Government projects. NISG strives for excellence and lays great emphasis on generating value for clients. Their services include advising the Government of India on issues of strategic importance such as architectures, standards, localization, PKI infrastructure, etc. Apart from playing a strategic advisory role, It also help central and state governments improve the delivery of government services, plan IT systems to enhance internal efficiencies, and improve leadership capability and ability-sets within the Government. A more important task which engages thier attention is to build up nation wide capacities for capacity building through institutional partnerships with government as well as private partners.
