NIT Patna (National Institute of Technology Patna) is the eighteenth NIT made through the Ministry of H.R.D. Indian Govt. after rechristening the formerly Bihar College of Engineering Patna on January 28, 2004. NIT Patna marked its humble starting in the year of 1886 with the establishment of pleaders survey training school which was subsequently encouraged of Bihar College of Engineering Patna in the year 1924.

The Department of Architecture at NIT Patna provides a 5-year degree program in Bachelor of Architecture. The department has a very good infrastructure and faculty to offer quality education.
The Department offers wide spectrum of courses in graphics and design. The prominent topics among them are Visual Arts, Architectural Design, Architectural Graphics, Climatology, and Architectural Acoustics.
Apart from these, scholars are also provided a wide variety of electives and in the last 2 semesters they are included exclusively in apprenticeship and projects.

Admission Procedure
Admission to the undergraduate programs is based on the rank obtained in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination [AIEEE] directed through the Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) New Delhi.

I have scored 151 marks in architectureexam of aieee 2010…….is there any chance of admission in any of the NITs or any other institute of architecture?????
I live in Mumbai.my rank is as follow:-
ALL INDIA RANK is 28,394
In General category my ALL INDIA RANK is 19,010
my state(maharashtra) rank in architecture is 2,403
and in general category my state rank is 1,683.
Please do let me know if there’s any chance!!!!
I’ve not given NATA exam till now…..is it possible to get admission through AIEEE B.arch exam?????

My AIR is 24689 in B.Arch exam in AIEEE-2010 and my state(bihar) rank is 533.
I wished to ask.. Is there any chances to get into NITs?
Or, is there any chances to get into NIT patna on the basis of my state rank?
How many seats are there in a particular NIT for this course?

dear sir, i have scored marks in architecture exam of aieee . my all india rank is 26946 category rank is 18180 karnataka state rank is 571. is there any chance for me to get admission in a good nit for these score. please let me know urgently.

i have an all india rank of 2426 and state rank 122 (madhya pradesh) in architecture in the b.arch paper of aieee 2010. which college can i get through the counselling being done by the ccb?

Sir, i have got 10787 air in b.arch & in gen category 7624. My state rank is 1097(delhi) & gen category rank is 937. Would to get any nit or any architecture college. Pls reply soon.
