Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola was founded on 20th October, 1969. PDKV is located in Akola. The PDKV University is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU). PDKV is a state university, accredited by University Grant Commission, UGC. The University is committed with the responsibility of agricultural education, research and extension education along with breeder and foundation seed programme. The university has been made extensive importance in academic fields and research activities since past few years. PDKV Akola provides undergraduate programs in Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry, and technical program in Agricultural Engineering. Masters programme is provided in various fields in the faculty of Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering.
