The Periyar University was launched by the Act 45 of Government of Tamilnadu in 1997. The University has been licensed with National Accreditation Council (NAAC) certification. The University has been called after the famous social reformer Thanthai Periyar. A MBA distance-learning program is a great alternate for people whose timetable does not allow them to go for veritable and sponsor actuates to a campus location. Distance learning IIM MBA classes are off-campus. These courses provide free interactional just like a classroom session where students can interact with the readers and have their reactions directly

Eligibility
The candidate should have cleared Graduation in any discipline and must have work experience after Graduation.

Selection process
Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in Entrance Test: MAT/CAT/TANCET with good score. Candidates short-listed on the basis of Entrance Test score will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection.

Admission process
Candidate has to fill out an application form that is available at the official site of the institute and also get by post by send a cheque / DD for favour of The Periyar University. Application form will be submitted before the last date of submission.
