Pioneer Institute Better Government Competition
Pioneer Institute Better Government Competition
The Pioneer Institute Better Government Competition was instituted in 1988.The 19th Better Government Competition will award ideas and programs that help govern in a time of crisis – that offer savings, reduce duplication, and obviate future fiscal crises. The Institutes main focus has been the wide-ranging privatization of government services. The institute open up is one of the principal advocates of school verifiers, charter schools, and standardized testing. The Pioneer Institute is an example of a growing number of rightist conceive tanks and policy institutes across the United States that maintain influence on policy making at the state and local levels. The Institute considers that individual freedom and obligation, limited and accountable government, and the expanded application of free-market principles to public policy lead to greater human dignity, happiness, and economic prosperity.
