The MCA Course was begun in the Department of mathematics in June 03. The MCA Course provided by the Department is a six semester full time postgraduate course spread over three years. At Current there are 50 seats per semester. Allow booking policy of Ranchi University is followed to fill up the seats. Two additional seats are booked for students under B.P.L category.

Eligibility
Students having at least second class Bachelor Degree of lower limit three years duration in any field (Science, Commerce, Management and Engineering) with Mathematics at the 10+2 level, shall be legal for admission in the 1st semester of the M.C.A. program.
Selection Procedure
Students are chosen on the basis of
(1) Marks scored in all India Centralized Eligibility Test (CET) carried on by Ranchi University, Ranchi
(2) Academic Career of the students and
(3) Achievement in the interview carried on by the Department.
