RS Vidyapeetha (Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha) Tirupati was founded at in the year of 1961 through the Ministry of Education, Indian Govt. in partial fulfilment of the recommendations, for the preservation and propagation of Traditional Sanskrit learning combining it with the advanced techniques of research. The RS Vidyapeetha aims to preserve and give instruction in traditional Sanskrit lore with especial attention to highly specialized branches of Sastras.
