Dear Sir,
I wanted to save 5.00 lacs as a fixed deposit . I was guided by a SBI branch manager to deposit the same in SBI Mutual fund. I filled some forms and I gave cheque for 5.00 lacs in the name of SBI PSU as per his advise. I did not get any document / or bond as a proof of procuring the mutual fund. I am completely green in this type of investments. The Branch manager, who dealt this matter is on leave now. I am working abroad and I have to leave with in few days. So Kindly advise me about what document I should get to claim my money at a later date.
