SCMS was launched in 1976 by Prathap Foundation for Education & Training. It instituted with an investment of Rs. 750 lakhs at the SCMS Group’s own premises, the facilities are multi operational and multi dimensional. SCMS Institute of Bioscience & Biotechnology Research & Development is a meeting of the three and is pushed by SCMS Group which has a track record for excellence. A student Customer Service Centre and a Professional Training Centre for Teachers & Researchers are the other attractors of the Institute.
