Securities and Exchange Board of India Mutual Funds Regulations 1996

Securities and Exchange Board of India Mutual Fund Department Regulations, 1996 has been afterward amended through the SEBI (Mutual Funds) Amendment Regulations. Securities and Exchange Board of India Mutual Fund authorized Asset Management Company (AMC) manages the funds by producing investments in several types of securities. Custodian, certified with SEBI, holds the securities of several schemes of the fund in its custody. The Securities and Exchange Board of India Mutual Fund mutual funds are also required to follow like procedure while converting the scheme form close-ended to open-ended scheme and in case of change in sponsor.
