Sikkim Manipal University was demonstrated in 1995. SMU is recognized by the University Grants Commission and approved by the Government of India. The university is well known for their quality education in management. They provide 2 year MBA program in distance learning education. The distance learning education is provided for those students who are not eligible to attend regular classes. Recognized by Distance Education Council (DEC) for three academic years – 2009-10 to 2011-12.

Candidate should have 3 year bachelor degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks from any recognized university or equivalent.
Admission process
Admission is based on entrance test. Application forms are available at the official site of the college. Candidate can download the application form from there and submit that before the last date of submission. In addition to the normal fees, an additional lateral entry fee of Rs.3, 800/-
