SLIET Techfest
Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology or SLIET is a technical college in north India. The institute was conceived by the government of India in 1985 as a tribute to late Sant Harchand Singh Longowal, a high Sikh leader in the 1970s. The institute was set up by Ministry Of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) in 1989 and was officially commenced in 1991.
