St.Peter’s University is a deemed University set up in 2008 by Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. It was earlier functioning as St. Peter’s Engineering College which was instituted in the year 1992 and linked to Anna University, Chennai, with all the conventional programmes recognized by NBA AICTE, New Delhi. St. Peter’s University is now placed with bigger force for high quality education and making programmes leading to research and development.
