Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute Of Technology, Surat is established in June 1961 with facilities to lead Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering disciplines. The SVNIT main aim with which the institute was founded was to contribute good technical education in the state. Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat is a government engineering college conducting various courses on several fields of Engineering and Technology. The Institute offers campus placement to its student. The SVNIT has 3 Post Graduate Centers, one each in Civil Engineering, Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering Departments.
