Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) is situated in Pune, Maharashtra.
SIBM was launched in 1978. It is studied as one of the prime Business Schools in India. In 2002, Symbiosis International Educational Centre became the Deemed University status, because of its excellent academic record. The institute is a component of Symbiosis International Educational Centre. Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune is licensed by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. However, in 2006, the University Grants Commission withdrew the word ‘Deemed’ and named the university as Symbiosis International University (SIU).
