Tezpur University Distance Education

Tezpur University was established by an Act of Parliament in 1994. The university is well known for their distance learning education. The university was strain to offer employment oriented and interdisciplinary course, mostly at post graduate level, to meet the local and regional aspirations and the development of the state of Assam and to provide an innovative system of university level education flexible in regard to methods and space of learning and encourage excellence in new fields of knowledge. The Napaam campus of the University is in a plot of an area of 242 acres of land.
