Tehri Hydro Development Corporation, Ltd. engages in developing and harnessing hydroelectric sites/projects in Bhagirathi and Bhilangana valleys in India. THDC projects, promotes, and organizes the development of hydro resources of Bhagirathi River and its tributaries at Tehri for hydroelectric power generation. The THDC Company generates topping out power and also allows for balancing load to the thermal base generation during off peak hours.
