Uttarakhand Open University is founded in October 31, 2005. This university is situated in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Open University academic programmes have been planned to congregate the demands of students, employers and the regional also as national community. The designing of the courses have done in such a direction that they can assemble the needs of Uttarakhand. This university conducts entrance tests for those students who have no certificate on any conventional education.
