The J&K Board of School teaching” has also been urging introduction of English language in government schools right from class 1st and it has already developed a series of new books on teaching of English language from class 1st to 8th.Dr. Bloeria said that the cabinet nem con passed a resolution bespeaking the central government to admit Dogri language into the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution. There are 10609 government primary schools with 22300 teachers. Besides there are 1365 private main schools in the state.
