Introduction
The school of Nursing is associated to the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. It is one of the prime and honored Institute of the country formulated from Nursing Training Center way back in July 1960. Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) is a division of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) situated in Varanasi. The Institute of Medical Sciences nowadays has three faculties (Medicine, Ayurveda & Dental Sciences).
School of Nursing, Molecular Biology Unit, Center for Experimental Medicine and Surgery, Auditorium, Photo & Art Section, Library, Central Workshop and Animal House under control of the Directorate, IMS . The Institute of Medical Sciences is the medical school of the University. The training is as per the syllabus of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and is recognized by I.N.C., New Delhi

Eligibility
Intermediate 10+2 OR equivalent from the recognized board/university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & English with minimum 50% aggregate marks (PCBE) for General/OBC category and 40% for SC/ST category.
