The SDM Institute for Management Development was launch in 1993 below the chairmanship of Dr. Veerendra Heggade, with the stated mission of growing worldwide business leaders who are driven through Indian values and traditions. It is handled through the Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara Educational Trust which has above forty educational institutions including Engineering and Medical colleges. They also run various hospitals and social development programmes.The Institute concentrates on the two year PGDBA program, MDP’s and Research and training. Close links have been forged with Industry and sustained attempts are on to strengthen the interaction.
