Introduction
Shri guru ram dass charitable society (Regd.) was launched by ms. Davinder kaur aulakh in The Nov. 1996 in name of fourth sikh guru ram dass ji with the imagination to furnish educational services to the population of kandi area & to activity by all means at disposal for the improvement of society, in general & weaker sections of the society in particular by providing charitable health & educational services. The society began shri guru ram dass institute of nursing education hoshiarpur in 1997 providing 3 years general nursing & midwifery diploma.

Admission
Requirements for B.Sc. Course
The lower age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the year admission.
The minimum educational demands shall be the passing of:
Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years Course) Or Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), pre-degree Examination (10+2) Or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCB
Student shall be Medically Fit.
For GNM Course
Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years.
Minimum education
10+2 class passed or it’s equal rather with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects with aggregate of 45% marks.
Those who have earned 10+2 vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
Admission of students shall be once in a year.
Students shall be medically fit.
In addition to the above, admission process can be established by concerned State Nursing Council/Nursing Examination Boards (S.I.B.E., M.I.B.E., C.M.A.I.).
