Introduction
Sinhgad Dental College & Hospital is situated in Pune, a crucial teaching center of Maharashtra. The college began its beginning academic session in 2006-2007, with an intake of 50 students. Attached to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, the college enters as many as 100 students for the course, with the approving of Dental Council of India (DCI). Sinhgad Dental College & Hospital works beneath the aegis of Sinhgad Technical Education Society. In a short span of time, the college has become one of the famous dental institutes of the state.

Eligibility
The hopeful student should have passed 10+2 or its equal examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology taken together, from Maharashtra Higher Secondary School Board or its equal. The student should be 17 years old, at the time of admission.
Admission Procedure
Admission Criteria for this course are lower limit 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English at the 12th standard of Maharashtra Higher Secondary School Board, its equal. Student should have completed 17 years of age at the time of the admission B.D.S. Course
Admissions are centrally contained out by competitory exam (ASSO-CET) carried by Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Maharashtra. The competitory Exam is held generally in the month of May every year.
