The Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences was launched in 1995.The Sikkim Manipal University of Health Medical and Technological Sciences is a unique spouse institution of Manipal Group of Institution in Manipal, Karnataka and Government of Sikkim. It is the first government-private opening in the region. SMU is accepted by the University Grants Commission and sanctioned by the Government of India.
