SSC 2011 Combined Graduate Level Exam Staff Selection Commissions (SSC CGL)
The Staff Selection Commission has a nationwide network of 9 Regional/Sub-regional Offices settled at Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Allahabad, Bangalore, Chennai, New Delhi & Sub-regional offices settled at Chandigarh & Raipur. Staff Selection Commission will apply Combined Graduate Stage (Tier I) Examination 2011 for job to the various positions in misc Ministries and Departments.

How to Apply
The candidate application must be submitted only in the prescribed format online applications by challans in SBI branches and on-line payment through SBI will also be available for this examination with effect from 04.02.2011.

    Zone allocation will be done by CBDT not by ssc.

    @Don,
    Promotion is based on suitability cum availability. in IT cadre there are less ITO post than that of available candidate. in this cadre 6 years is essential duration but due to less availability it may take more than 6 years to become an ITO.

    hi, u should know that salary varies from place to place as some allowances are different for different places. so if u choose a place (place of posting), i will tell u about ur grand and net salary.
