SSC CPO SI Exam 2011 Central Police Organizations
Central Police organization was held Sub-Inspectors in 2010 by SSC on national basis to fill nearly 2153 Sub Inspectors in various Central Government Police Organizations like CRPF, ITBP, CBI, SSB, CISF, BSF etc. Due to its National level approach this test is taken by a large number of aspirants who wants to join these organizations on the priority basis. In 2011 the Central Police organization may open the similar vacancy of Sub Inspectors, details are given below.
Date of Exam: first week of September, 2011

Number of Posts: 2153
Age Limit (as on June, 2011): 20 to 25 years. Reservation as per rules
Important Date for CPO SI 2011
Date of Notification: last Saturday of May 30, 2011
Last Date of Receiving Application: last Friday of June, 2011
Date of Exam: first week of September 06, 2011
Qualification: Graduation in any subject from an accredited university and equivalent. Candidate who has appeared in the final year of degree exam and is awaiting the result is also eligible to take the exam
How to Apply: According to Centre of Examination send your application to the address mentioned.
Fee
General/OBC candidates have to prescribed fees and SC/ST candidates are exempted from the fee by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps only, available at head post office all over the country
Examination pattern for SI 2011
A. Paper 1. General Studies:-The Paper I carries 400 Marks and consists of 200 Questions to be attempted in 2 Hours divided in following sections.
a) General Intelligence and Reasoning 50
b) General Awareness 75
c) Numerical Ability 75
B. Paper 2. General English: – The Paper I carries 100 Marks and needs to be attempted in 1 Hour divided in following sections.
a) Language Comprehension
b) Communication/Writing skill
Selection Process for SI 2011
After clearing Written Test Candidates need to clear Physical Efficiency (Endurance) Test (PET). After clearing the Physical test the candidate will be examined by the interview through which the final selection is made.
