The National Institute of Watersports (NIWS) has been found by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India as an apex institute for meeting the challenges of fast developing leisure-based watersporting in India. The Institute has been imagined to operate as a ‘Model’ system for manpower growth and to cooperate with the stakeholders to grow and promote leisure-watersporting.
