The Tamil Nadu Open University was setup through an Act No.27 year in 2002. The TNOU of the senate of the Government of Tamil Nadu to benefit. Those who have been stripped or allowed the access to higher education especially destitute physically challenged, working men and women, Edinburgh weaker sections of the society, and those who terminated education for several reasons, etc.
The Tamil nadu Open University has invites for B.ed entrance examination for admission.

Eligibility
Those candidates completed graduate degree in any stream. They can apply in his stream.
Application form
The course catalog and Application form can be found from the B.Ed. Study Centers and all Learning Resource Centers of TNOU by paying of Prescribe amount
Or through post sending a Demand Draft for Prescribe amount /- in favor of Tamil nadu Open University Chennai.

Last date for issue application- Last Week June 2011
Dates for Entrance Exam- last July 2011
Announcement of Entrance Exam results date- Mid august 2011
Reservation –
The reservation for admission is as rule of government of India.
