Tripura Tea Development Corporation was establishing in 1980 for development of Tea Industry in the State. Afterward, the management of five crazy Tea gardens was entrusted with the Corporation since 1986. The State Government has as well announced T.T.D.C. as a nodal office for development of farmers for tea grove in the State. There is a Central Tea Processing Factory at Durgabari under the management of T.T.D.C.
Marketing Network
The Marketing of bundle tea is developing quickly and potential to reach a considerable stage shortly. A lion’s percentage of processed tea (Made Tea) is being sold to Auction market at Guwahati. Effort is being taken to sell our Tea in poly pouch bundle everywhere India.
