UCC Distance Learning

The UCC (University of Cape Coast) Distance Learning curriculum has admitted 7,444 scholars, the highest since its inception 9 year ago, for the 2009/2010 academic year. Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, Vice Chancellor of the university on Thursday declared that programs were far modern to start distance learning programs in the natural sciences and humanities. The scholars, who were chose from over 10,000 applications, would undertake different degree courses.

She said 25,000 scholars have been drawn from whole the 10 regions for the distance education curriculum and urged more women to take benefit of curriculum. Approximately 1,000 undergraduate scholars registered in 20 curricula, from certificate to graduate degree stages, will be qualified to participate in the graduation exercise.
