The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization pronounced is a specialized business of the United Nations setup on 1945. UNESCO expressed purpose is to contribute to peace and security through promoting international cooperation through education, and culture in order to contribute universal respect for justice, the rule of law, and the human rights and factor freedoms maintained in the UN Charter. It is the heir of the association of Nations International Commission on individual Cooperation.

    I am doing History[hons] & I am in my second year. I am planning to work in UNESCO. I am interested in intellectual issues- issues concerning affecting the mankind & society at large, for instance honour killings, women empowerment, gender roles, terrorism or the established concept of jihad.So what are the qualifications to join UNESCO? what job can I get with the degree of History[[hons] even if I pursue history furher at MA level & further?
