Constituted in 1968, University of Calicut is a teaching cum associating university in the southern state of Kerala in India. The main campus of the university is placed at Thenjipalam, in the district of Malappuram.Two other campuses are at Trichur and Calicut. Placed in sylvan surroundings, the campus has an ideal natural environment for teaching. The University enterprises to encourage technical teaching, carry on research and training in the social sciences and languages, and encourage arts and culture specific to Kerala.

Eligibility
A bachelor degree [10+2+3 pattern] in any subject of University of Calicut or that of any other University accepted by University of Calicut with a lower limit of 50% marks in aggregate (admitting languages). Two years’ work experience is needed for MBA evening programme in addition to the other requirements. OBC and SC/ST students are granted relaxation as per rules (i.e.5% relaxation for OBC & Other Eligible Communities and a mere pass for SC/ST). Individuals awaiting their degree results may also apply. But they should produce their original degree mark lists before the close date for the registration of their first semester MBA examinations. However, original Plus Two/Pre-degree mark list should be produced for verification at the time of Personal Interview and Group Discussion.
Selection
Selection is based on Plus Two / Pre-degree marks and the scores got by the individuals in the entrance test (to be held during May 2010 at Kozhikode, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur), Group discussion and Personal Interview. The University may cancel any of these entrance test centres if enough individuals do not opt for that centre for the test.
