UPCPMT 2011 Entrance Exam Combined Pre Medical Test
Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test 2011 also Famous as UP CPMT 2011 which is carried every year for admission into several medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh. It is conducted to select the students for various undergraduate level of medical course. It is meant purely for the candidates residing within the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Courses
MBBS – Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery
BDS – Bachelor of Dental Surgery
BAMS – Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery
BHMS – Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery
BUMS – Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates should have a legal resident of Uttar Pradesh.
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with atleast 50% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In addition examinees should have also passed English. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply.
Important Dates (Tentative)
Date of Entrance test: Mid May, 2011
Availability of Application Forms: February 2nd week-March 1st week, 2011
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: March 1st week, 2011
Examination Pattern
There will be 2 papers of 2 hours each. The first paper will contain questions from Zoology and Botany. The second paper will have questions from Chemistry and Physics. Only objective questions will be asked.
UPCPMT 2011 Application forms
The forms for UPCPMT are expected to be available at all head post offices of all the districts in Uttar Pradesh and in Dehradun and Nainital and also at selected General Post Offices across Uttar Pradesh.

The Admit Card of UPCPMT Entrance Exam will send in Your Mailing Address Maintained in Application By the Exam Authority
Reservation seats
Seats are reserved as per policy of State Government i.e. for OBC (27%), SC (21 %), ST (2%) and horizontal reservation to Women candidates (20%), Physically Handicapped (3%), Dependants of Freedom Fighters (2%), son/daughter of Ex-serviceman (Handicapped in War, Retired or Martyrs) (2%), NCC Cadet (‘C Certificate with ‘B’ Grading) (1%).
UPCPMT 2011 Exam Centers
Candidates may apply through these centers;-Agra, Aligarh, Allahabad, Azamgarh, Barailly, Faizabad, Ghaziabad, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Noida,Saharanpur and Varanasi or any other centre prescribed by University of Lucknow.
