Constituted in 1943, Utkal University is among the most former universities in India. The present campus of the teaching-cum-associating university is placed at Vani Vihar in Bhubaneswar. The university has extensive listing of attached colleges beneath its jurisdiction. The motto of the University is ‘Satyam Param Dheemahi’. Utkal University has been accepted by UGC and it also has the membership of the affiliation of Indian Universities (AIU).
