Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University) launched on October 1987 as a relating university under U.P. state university act 1973. It was began with the sixty-eight linked colleges; the university now has widened its range of activities with 331 linked UG and PG colleges and student’s registration of about 300 and 80000 in twelve dominions of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
