Vinoba Bhave University or VBU Hazaribagh is a teaching-cum-associating university. It came into universe after bifurcation of Ranchi University. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) allowed primary membership to Vinoba Bhave University in December 1992 and in appreciation and acknowledgement of its pace of growth, permanent membership was granted in 2001. The University is also a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), London. It is also accepted by the UGC, New Delhi.

Eligibility
People who have secured 50% marks in their Bachelor’s Degree Examination (with Mathematics as a subject at +2 levels) of any university are eligible to apply. OR B.C.A/ B.Sc. in Computer Science
Admission
Names of people short-listed on the basis of the written test and merit list will be put up on the notice board and also in website. The final selection is based on the achievement in the written test and interview. Separate call letters will also be sending to the successful individuals.
