The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar owes its beginning to a Social Contract between the Government of Orissa and the OJS (Orissa Jesuit Society). The Management of the institute is in the hands of a Governing Board, comprising of representatives from the Jesuit Society, Government of India, Government of Orissa and high industrialists and educationists.

Eligibility
Minimum three-year Bachelor’s degree (or equal) in any field, from an accepted University. Final year degree students, who expect to finish their last examinations and other demands for receiving the degree by June 15, 2010, may also apply.
Admission Test (IRMA Test or XAT)
Apply and perform for one of the following written tests the test to be carried on by Institute of Rural Management, Anand (, on 8th November 2009 (refer to IRMA advertisement in newspapers), OR 2) the XAT to be carried on by XLRI Jamshedpur ) on 3rd January 2010. Registering for IRMA test or XAT is a requirement for applying to XIMB’s PGPRM programme.
How to Apply to XIMB
Apply separately for XIMB’s PGDRM programme, by clicking on PGDRM Registration given in the menu. Then fill in the needed data and “submit”.
Step 2: Take a print out of the Payment Advice form.
Step 3: Pay the application fee in any one of the following methods:
a) Deposit Rs.1000/-in cash, from any Core branch of State Bank of India, into the Current A/c No. 30834687536 of XIM, Bhubaneswar using Core Banking Services;
OR
b) Get a demand draft for Rs.1000/- in favour of “Xavier Institute of Management”, and payable at Bhubaneswar.
Step 4: Send the completed payment advice form along with the original bank remittance slip (counterfoil) or Demand Draft to

Selection Process
Individuals short-listed on the basis of written test (IRMA Test or XAT) scores will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata or Mumbai. Individuals will have to meet their own travel expenses.
The final selection will be based on the individual’s achievement in the written test, the Group Discussion & Personal Interview, and will take into account the past academic record and relevant work experience.
