Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIM Bhubaneswar, also famous as XIMB), is a business school in India, placed in the eastern state of Orissa. Constituted in 1987, the Institute owes its origin to a Social Contract between the Government of Orissa and the Orissa Jesuit Society. The Institute is led by a Governing Board comprising of representatives from the Orissa Jesuit Society, Government of India, and Government of Orissa and prominent invited industrialists and educationists.

Eligibility
The lower limit requirement for admission to the Programme is: A three-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any field from an accepted University. Individuals who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations by June 15, 2010, may also apply. Offers of admission to such individuals, if made, will be provisional and will be automatically cancelled in the event of their failing to finish all the requirements for receiving the degree before June 15.

Selection Process
The institute will choose the section wise as well as total cut-off marks, which will be used for short listing individuals to be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. GD & PI will held at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. Individuals will have to meet their own travel expenses for performing in the GD & PI. The ultimate selection will be on the individual achievement in the XAT as well as Group Discussion and Personal Interview (which factors in the past academic record and relevant work experience). The selected people will be informed by mail by around first week of April 2010
